What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how it is used. Under the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. 336 of 2011) we only set non-essential cookies with your consent.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They include:

  • WordPress (wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*): keep you logged in if you have an account. Session or up to 1 year.
  • WooCommerce (woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*): remember your basket and checkout. Session or up to 2 days.
  • Event tickets: remember tickets you are booking during checkout. Session.
  • Security and spam protection: our host and form tools may set short-lived cookies or check your browser to block bots.
  • Cookie consent: remembers your cookie choice. Up to 1 year.

Functional cookies

Elementor, the page builder we use, may store small items in your browser (for example, to remember that you closed a pop-up). These do not track you across other sites.

Analytics cookies

If we use analytics (for example Google Analytics, cookies _ga and _ga_*, up to 2 years), it is only switched on after you accept analytics cookies. It tells us which pages are visited so we can improve the site. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Third-party content

Embedded maps, videos or social media posts (for example Google Maps, YouTube or Facebook) may set their own cookies when you view them. Please see those providers’ policies.

Managing cookies

You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the basket, from working.

Complaints

You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission – www.dataprotection.ie.
